Hello,

I’ve signed on as a civilian contractor and am heading for IRAQ! But, the really big news is that today I had my first (legitimate) MRE for lunch, enchiladas. Once I’m in place I’ll try and keep you all posted on the latest, like First Strike Rations and such.

Did you show the others how to properly heat and eat the MREs? I bet you WOWed them all do to the fact that most people outside the MIL. have actually had a chance to leisurely chow down on such a packaged treat.
