Was cruising EBAY today,and found this " great " deal: http://cgi.ebay.ca/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie ... %3AIT&rd=1
THEN I got the bright idea to try and date them! Much to my surprise (NOT! ),they were from '93-96 with a few newer ones ('99-2000).
Oh well, much too old for me.
Any takers with "iron" stomachs?

I don't think you could pay me enough to try that Omlet w/ Ham. Yuck! But the other stuff is probably still good...but I wouldn't pay much for it.

Here is an older auction

The last time the menu item 01-Pork Pattie was produced was MRE VII (1987). 18-year old food. . . .

I've eaten OLD MRE's before without a hitch. Im talking pre Desert Storm. That was about 2 years ago on a camping trip and they were fine. Probably lost much of its nutrient value but I did not incur any adverse effects.
