new egg mre? experimentation
I read about some place that got a quarter million dollar grant from Uncle Sam to experiment with a new scrambled egg or omelet or something. I can't find it now. The eggs are cooked at some super high temperature or something like that. If I find the article, I'll let you know.
Hi Dave. It might have been one of these articles:

or
Military scrambles to serve tastier egg

Yep, thats it.
Looks like it will be awhile before field testing. How does one post a pic here? I was trying to click on image and attach one, but it would'nt work.
Hi Dave. I don't think you can actually upload images to the forum. When you press the "Img" button, it inserts and/or closes the IMG tag type. If you have a link to an image, you can post it like this:
(img)http://www.domain.com/image.jpg(/img)
You're actually supposed to use brackets - [ ] - instead of ( ).
Or if someone knows another way to allow image uploads, I'm willing to listen - but I couldn't find that option in the admin control panel.

Unk.
I think the IMG thing is for linking a pic from another website. I wanted to include a pic from my own harddrive, to a post. I've done both before, but it does'nt seem to work.[/img]
Yep - you see, the problem is that I don't see any way in the forum admin to allow for image uploading.
But the good news is that there are other (free!) services out there that can help. Here's one I just found:
http://www.imageshack.us
And here's a sample image I just uploaded to them.

It works pretty easy - from the main page, just select the file to upload, upload it, and it'll give you the tag to paste into your message.

Looking into it.
I just put on an Ebay auction. Looks like the other Dave is highly interested in Rats. Now I'm giving my position away. Oh Well, I don't have anymore coldwar commies after me(I Hope). 6506491178 on Ebay. Later, let the other Dave know, if he has an account.

Thanks for linking it.
Hope I get some bids. I'm not trying to make a bunch of $. Just do it for fun, and a few friends. Later, Wink
