Purchased MRE Cases on Ebay and No Delivery
Purchased MRE Cases on Ebay and No Delivery
So I get a good deal on 2 cases of MRE's with a 2008 insp/test date, decent shipping, paypal discount, a seller not located in a disaster area, and with pretty good feedback.
What's wrong with this picture you may ask???
No MRE's and its been two weeks. Seller has not replied to my emails and he gave me a UPS tracking number based on just the generation of an electronic label. UPS tracking does not show that the cases were ever dropped off for shipment.
So any comments as to how long I get paypal/ebay involved? He's still selling army surplus items on ebay and a neg for no delivery will probably screw up any future business. I am hoping it's just a matter of holiday shipping crush, but the non response to emails is worrying.

Sorry to hear you're having problems, Bil4444. How are you trying to contact the seller? Are you sending emails directly to his email address or are you using Ebay's online system for contacting sellers? I'd recommend using the Ebay system so they'll have a record of the communication and also because you never know if your/his email server is eating up the emails.
Another recommendation is to find his telephone number and give him a call. If you dig through Ebay, you can find an area that will give you that info if you're involved in a auction with him.
Personally, here's what I'd do. You see, my wife does a lot of Ebay selling and nothing pisses her off more than someone leaving her a negative feedback for something stupid - like she sells a shirt that says it's in "good condition" and the person slaps down negative feedback because it's not in new, perfect condition. She fights like crazy to get that negative feedback taken off. The point here is...negative feedback usually gets their attention real fast.
So try giving that guy a call. If the number is fake or he doesn't respond within a day, leave him negative feedback. At the very least, you're warning potential buyers of his other current auctions. At best, you'll get his attention and you can get the situation resolved and then take the negative feedback off later.
Feel free to send us the auction link so we can keep an eye on the guy.

I have got a few cases of MRE's off of e-bay.
I would try to contact the seller,or report him to e-bay.
I had the same problem you did. The tracking number always showed that it never got picked up. After two weeks I was ready to contact e-bay about it. I checked my mail box and found the key to the package locker in it. My case of RCW's was there. Let us know this guy's seller's name so we can avoid him. Hope you get your MRE's.

I would give it another week, they will probably show up.
