Hi Olli,

I already noticed that sometimes before, that the "real" MRE entrees do no match with the official Menu List. I can remember the MREs between 1981-1985, but here you can count on that: The entrees were always identical by every menu!

So long mreheater72

housil, it looks like that MRE was packaged by Wornick. As for the Tootsie Rolls being packaged two different ways, I think that might be a difference in the way Wornick packages things vs. Sopakco. I've seen the commercial candy items like M&Ms and Tootsie Rolls packaged in plain bags before.

As for the contents of that MRE being different than the menus, I think that's also because of Wornick. I mean, any MRE producer could do it - maybe they just ran out of Dairyshakes and jelly that day.

All of the Tootsie Rolls(3) that I have received in Wornick MREs have all been packaged like housil's.

I guess that it is a Wornick thing.
