Hey guys,

This is the first time i've seen a comercial pop-tart packed into a MRE package.

I noticed they started doing this a year or two ago. It's probably cheaper to use the commerical off-the-shelf pop-tarts than to specially produce the exact same pop-tart but for military packaging.

Now if they could just package the *frosted* pop-tarts, I'd be happy.

GRRRRRR! I hate that save button, I keep clicking it and loosing my post.

That pop-tart was from a 2007 MRE I'll open a 2008 and see if its packed the same way.

Thumbs-up on that one, Treesuit. I like those Cinnamon Scones - they're not as sweet as a pop-tart but they have more taste than plain old wheat snack bread.
