Great School Snack

Post by DIRTYDAVE » Tue Nov 11, 2008 1:06 am

My daughter needs to take a snack every day into school. She is in the 5th grade and I have shared custody of her. Well, one morning we ran out of fruit snacks and I asked her if she would like to take some wheat snack bread and cheese spread for her snack and she said YES.

Well, guess what she takes to school every Tuesday and every other Monday?

Wheat snack bread and cheese spread - the one with bacon is her favorite. While her other little classmates snack on the various civillian snacks my daughter is snacking like the rest of our soldiers in Iraq...:)

Needless to say, her friends are quite jealous that she gets to eat military food...:)

I've thought about bringing a whole MRE for lunch before. Never done it though.
