Are these people insane?

What the heck is going on with this? Are they stocking up for the storms? Any other idea why someone would pay this much for MRE's?

Wow - $255 for 2 cases and that doesn't even include shipping. I guess storms really do bring out the crazy in people.

Just wait, though...after things settle down, the MRE market is going to crash on ebay and people won't be able to sell them for these insane prices. At least, that's my prediction.

I have 64 MRE heaters I don't need. Perhaps I should try to sell them for $300.00?

Don't be greedy, DirtyDave! Just ask for $128 - that's only $2 each!

Hey DirtyDave, you better contact the guy who won that auction. At $10.63/MRE, he can't heat them up with an ordinary heater. He'll need your 'special' heaters, for $2 each!

You really think someone would buy them for that price?
