Hurricane Gustav

Post by madcapmagician » Sun Aug 31, 2008 11:42 pm

Just sitting around waiting for Hurricane Gustav to hit. I am about 160 miles as the crow flies from Morgan City, Louisiana where it is supposed to hit. I'm hoping it's not going to be too bad. It is farther west of us than Katrina was. Well, whatever happen's happen's. Good luck to anybody in it's path. Take care guy's and talk to you later :D

I'm Still Here?

Post by madcapmagician » Mon Sep 01, 2008 8:04 pm

I am alive, I think  Wasn't too bad here just a lot of rain and wind. Look's like we still have a lot of rain to come, but that's no big deal :P
The only problem is no destruction, no mre's :P Just kidding  I wasn't really looking forward to 2 weeks without power again

Kman is the next one on the list. Hurricane Hannah is probably coming his way  But, we have another one in the pipe now that might be coming our way called Ike. I will just have to wait and see what happen's

Thank's for the good wishes guys :!: :!: :!: :!: :!: :!: :!: :!: :!: :!:

Have a great day :D

Good to hear you weathered the storm (literally) without any real problems. Take care.

Glad to hear you're ok,madcap... :D
Now Hannah is on her way, although she lost some steam, but Ike is on it way.i'm watching it because my folks live in Puerto Rico and all the projections put the island straight in its path...
