Fun with MREs

This was my process;
1. I selected a bottle, an MRE heater, and a party balloon. (photo #1)
2. The heater was inserted in the bottle.
3. The balloon was partially filled with water and the opening stretched over the neck of the bottle.
4. The water was allowed to flow from the balloon into the bottle. (photo B)
5. The balloon partially inflated with hydrogen. (photo III)
6. The one heater did not produce enough hydrogen to float the balloon. (last photo)
7. It then started raining so the motorcycle had to go back in the garage and I had no place to play.
8. I went inside and had a beer flush with the satisfaction of a job well done. Found some more heaters for tomorrow!
