I was thinking what kind of commercial products there can be found in MRE's (Besides Tabasco & Taster's Choice)
So far i've only found these:
-M&M Peanut Butter (2007 Menu)
-Tootsie Rolls (2004)
-Skittles (2007 i believe)
And i remember some kind of hard candy of many colors, can't remember the name.
Anyone have any additions?

the toffee with walnut candies cant remember the maker or the menu but they are good.
"Do not attack the First Marine Division. Leave the yellowlegs alone. Strike the American Army."
Orders given to Communist troops in the Korean War;
shortly afterward, the Marines were ordered
to not wear their khaki leggings.

MKIM hit it already, the hard candies were charms.
I remember in the earlier ones, there were also a pack of Caramels, of who made them, the name escapes me

The granola bars are another item that are often repackaged commercial products (Nature Valley?) as are the fruit bars (Fig Newtons.) Actually, I think most of the other components are also commercially available products that have been packaged in the MRE packaging from bulk (including some of the entrees,) though some are retail products that are just overwrapped. Items that I can think of right off the top of my head that are the Natick developed entrees, the fortified peanut butter, fortified cheese, fortified applesauce, Dairy Shakes, and snack bread, that are formulated specifically for the MREs. Oh yeah, and the spoon

The 1990s era MREs had Dairy Maid caramels. Kind of hard & chewy, but not too bad if you were hungry enough.

From 2004 menus I had....
MandMs.
Skittles
Tootsie rolls
Ocean Spray cranberries.
I've also in the same year had just the brown bag with loose cranberries in it, no other packaging, but one of them was a commercial Ocean Spray (I think) brand inside the brown bag.
Also some type of nutrigrain sports bar thingy, but I can't remember it.

Ah yes, charms.
Btw, i also remember a "Kippered Beef Snack" which seemed like a commercial product (found it in a 2004 menu).
