30 day mre diet

Post by bishopmarine » Tue Jun 24, 2008 8:10 pm

due to the recent free mre program that kman made available to us, i am going to consume nothing but one mre per day for the next 30 days. since those mre's were heat stressed i am going to use them quickly. i started today and i have eaten my entire chicken fajita mre already for today. then nothing but water or diet coke or coffee with no sugar or cream. basically all of my calories for the next 30 days will be derived from one mre. i am doing this to shed the last ten pounds that i need to get rid of. i have gone from 220 to 205 already. so i will keep you all updated on how i feel and my progress with weight loss. i will also be taking a good multivitamin once a day just to make sure i get all the stuff i need.

Weight Loss

Post by jfko6 » Tue Jun 24, 2008 8:36 pm

Want to lose more weight quickly? Than I recommend staying away from the diet coke.

Also, you should see a nutritionist. And take at least one multivitamin daily to safeguard against any lost vitamins and minerals.

But since this is akin to a fast for 30 days which I'm no expert on you should see your doctor and get a blood test and cholesterol panel.

This is the serious side.

On the flip side do we get to see before and after photos?

Cool idea! quick reply here - I'll post more tomorrow but watch out for those shortbread cookies! They smelled aweful nasty- some kind of sour. I didn't even eat them but dirtydave ate a pack of them and then felt like crap later.

Remember the MRE golden rule: if I'd smells bad, don't eat it!

nutritionist is not necessary nor is my doctors advise. i am cutting out about 700 calories not really life threatening definitely not a fasting period. as previously posted i am taking a multi vitamin. i am taking in plenty of fluids. i just want to lose about ten pounds of weight that could easily be done in 30 days.
