Coyote Camp packages the components into shelf stable meal packages for a different demographic. There are a number of companies that have been packaging commercially available components into shelf stable meals for years as emergency meals for seniors as part of the Meals on Wheels program.

Back when the started the Meals on Wheels program in New York City my aunt and grandma got interviewed by the New York Times and the story was printed.
