Hi guys,

today I found a 1974 MCI Accessory Packet in my mailbox; I bought it last week in eBay.

Here are some photos:

Here the front side, as usual with the words, MATCHES, CHEWING GUM, TOILET PAPER, COFFEE INSTANT, CREAM SUBSTITUTE, SUGAR, SALT from CADILLAC PRODUCTS:


Here the back side, the marking is overprinted with a black pattern:


But if you look closely, you can see the additional words CIGARETTES and STIMULATOR INTERDENTAL. It seems, that they used the old package from a 1972 MCI, where the Cigarettes and the Stimulator Interdental were still entree of the Accessory Packets:

That's a pretty unique find!

Man, I remember as a youngster my dad bringing home a whole trunk full of MCI's. I was fortunate enough to have opened up MANY accessory packets with the ciggies in them, which I had to hand over to my father to smoke of course...along with the fruitcake...LOL! Well, to eat not smoke...

The only thing I recall eating out of perhaps about 20 MCI's was the fruit, candy, gum and crackers. My dad either ate or more than likely threw the rest away when I was not looking...LOL!

as you can see above, 2008 I pictured an particular MCI Accessory Packet from 1974.

Today I "found" another MCI Accessory Packet akin to that I showed in May last year:

Here a photo of the back side, the marking again is overprinted with a black pattern:


It is hard to decipher, but if you look closely, you can see that following printing:

ACCESSORY PACKET
MENU NO. 3

CHOCOLATE BAR
MATCHES
COFFEE
CREAM
SUGAR
STIMULATOR INTERDENTAL

The name of packer is not identifiable.

Look her for an akin Accessory Packet:

It seems, that they used an wrapper from an Accessory Packet, that was intended to be used in a LRP-Ration. Perhaps for an economy measure?? Real funny !
