just found your site and think its great. being a old soldier myself i remmber some of the rat packs over the years.
i have also tried many a oversea,s rat packs and some i would not even feed to my dog.
i have also tried a lot of new ones. the best so far has been the brit army.
but the u.s mre is better to pack.
only problem is getting the things here.
you can get them on ebay but the shipping cost,s are shockers.
every now and then you get the odd australian one and man that brings back memories. mind you dont think much about the dehydrated bags they have in the new ones now the old tins where great.
i still have my original can opener from the first one i opened way back in 74, lol.
