Long Life Food?

Has anyone tried the MREs available at Long Life Food?
They seem to be quite comprehensive, but I'm not sure if they're decent or not. Which company makes the components?
$82 may seem very expensive, but they seem to have an interesting offering.

Short answer: LLF MREs are homemade - they put them together themselves and use standard MRE parts and pieces that you'll find in any regular military or civilian MRE.

It gets more interesting near the bottom of the first page and for the whole second page.

LLF is also Wornick's retail agent for the sale of their surplus MRE components.

That makes me wonder what'll happen to LLF with Wornick's bankruptcy announcement. I suppose Wornick could come out of bankruptcy and everything would be ok.

I hope so, but either way LLF has been running some good deals lately.

Wornick is in Chap. 11. A lot of companies go into Chap. 11 and come out as a reorganized company continuing to do business as normal. On the other hand, I did notice that a lot of the Nutri-System branded items that they package are showing up in Big Lots (not cheap either!)
