My 6 or 7 month deep freezer test

Post by Militaryration_guy » Thu May 12, 2022 7:17 pm

Greetings, I have had the idea to see what will happen to a U.S government MRE when stored in a deep freezer for 6 or 7 months (may wait until January 1st 2023 to drag it out or Christmas of this year to drag it out if I remember) and see what it's like when I drag it out in 6 months or longer.

Now we wait.

surely you would want to leave it more then 6 months? the MRE would be fine in 7 months, even in 7 years, without it being frozen, and we have seen many examples of frozen MREs being fine if thawed properly, so unless you freeze it for more then 35 years, this has all been done before
Check out my ORP menu spreadsheet: https://bit.ly/2NqUFRX | I have: | British 24HR Box Rations | French RCIRs | Type I EPA |Danish Rations
