I think the Army loses sight of the big picture sometimes. They take trans fats out of crackers to "protect" soldiers who would eat nothing but pepperoni pizza and Red Bull when not on patrol.
I miss the salted crackers from the 1980's MREs. Fond memories of those things when I'd score a few MREs from the local surplus shop as a kid.
