Ran across this while randomly searching the other day, contains such fun stuff as the scale of issue of fruits, supplements, deployment rations and everything else a unit supply officer should know
some interesting tidbits in it:
religious rations should be over-ordered because they can be used to feed prisoners and other soldiers.
captured subsistence stocks should be used to feed local populations or enemy prisoners and should only be used to feed US soldiers as a last resort.
