Closure Devices in US Rations

Post by Clipguy » Thu Jan 14, 2021 6:07 pm

Good afternoon folks,
I was watching Steve1989's video on the 1981 Food Packet Assault 24 Hour ration and happened to notice the included closure device to seal the mixing bag. Are there any other rations out there that utilized this style of closure device or similar ones? How could I go about getting my hands on one of these ration closure devices? Thanks

It looks similar to a plastic bread bag clip :D Maybe that would work?

No, not at all. This is similar to the $10K toilet seat or $1K hammer. It's a tactical closure device developed by NASA with alien tech. That's why it's that green color.

Wait until Tuesday, then buy a loaf of bread. That’s the green clip day.

Of all those closure devices included in the all the RCW accessory packs I have eaten, only once did I attempt to use one.. and actually put it on the wrong way.
