you're a very lucky guy to have one!
most wanted: RCIR, MCI/B units, IMPs, anything old, and a packet or two of RAFCO soup. PM if you've got these, or anything else to sell that isn't too expensive.

time is no factor. Popularity/competition is. K rations haven't gradually gotten more expensive over time, they spiked after Steve gained popularity. Same deal with other rations (and other ration reviewers!) From ~2016 onward more YouTubers have gotten popular, and more people want these rations. It's hard to say anything at all for this one as it's one of only two in existence; it's rather likely a few people on here wanted it, and all bid rather high.

there's like 3 already documented on the forums... And for K rations, reviewers have had a small influence but with lockdowns alot of people have been researching grandparents in the forces and researching, hence why mre info hit its top ever user count of over 1700 during a lockdown. Don't take ebay as solid word! People there want a profit so will tell lies unless they are genuinely wanting to help others collect.

Tldr; use the search bar here, as ebay sucks
Check out my ORP menu spreadsheet: https://bit.ly/2NqUFRX | I have: | British 24HR Box Rations | French RCIRs | Type I EPA |Danish Rations

eBay sure does suck. You'll get better prices, most likely, literally anywhere but eBay
