$9.72 for a MRE that's outrageous but of course those MREs are coming straight from the packers so what do you expect

yeah, well, with no surplus stores in my area that's cheap

My latest commissary visit — different than the one above — yielded this very much smaller batch of MRE’s. The prices, having visited more than one commissary, are not consistent across the commissary system. I’ve noticed a 10%-20% price variation between what I’ve seen and researched.

About $117 for a case of MREs, half that for TOTMs. Bought a case of TOTMs some months back at our commissary.

Single TOTM goes for $4.25, MRE double that.

I went to the Commissary today and checked prices. Full MREs are $9.81 each and $117.72 per case. TOTMs were $4.75 each and $57/case.

Do they sell 20/23 date cases for that price?

My latest visit to a different commissary had no MRE’s in stock. My hunch is they don’t generally stock them there having visited this location more than once, with no sign of them anywhere in the aisle.
