I'm curious if this is a good deal; army barracks surplus store is selling cases of MREs with April 2019 inspection/test date $155.00/case. I live close enough to drive there so no need for shipping. Any suggestions please let me know, thanks.

that's a bit steep considering the inspection date. I'm all for convenience but if you don't mind waiting for it to ship then you're better off buying online. Even after shipping cost you'd save some money at that rate.

Thanks needmorechicken, I was thinking it was kind of steep as well, but thought I'd get some feedback. My only other option for buying at a store would be to drive 2 hours to Hanscom AFB and last time I checked they were only selling individual MREs at the commissary and would not give me a price on the phone.

I’d be half tempted if it were 2023 inspection, but I agree way too much for ‘19.
