The coolest ration I own is my late war K-ration produced by the Kellogg Company. viewtopic.php?f=1&t=8505&p=64124&hilit=late+war#p64124

I still haven't opened and don't know if or when I will. I can hear the contents rattle around in it so I can only assume that the canned item in it is bad. The rest of the contents may still be edible.

I'm so glad I joined this group of people! Love seeing these pictures and posts! Got me looking like a kid in a candy store! Looking and drooling for hours over these pictures!

one color wrapper, that's just where the candy bar was touching or not

i initially thought the red blotches were staining from the grape packet that was packed with it but i later found a jolly jack wrapped in cellophane that had the same red splotches on the candy bar itself. which leads me to believe that it is an earlier, unmarked jolly jack

never did find an ingredients list or description to a jolly jack candy bar but evidently, something red...

not long, they were both late war K ration items. the glassine wrapped came from a morale dinner and the cellophane wrapped from a morale dinner that listed salt tablets, the last version first produced in '45
