Hey everyone, I just popped open a ORP raspberry drink mix one of the little 45g pouches from a recent ORP and I was blown away how good it was when compared to the US MRE beverage bases. That got me thinking about what other drink mixes everyone else enjoys out of their rations.

So what's your favorite ration beverage base or powdered drink mix? Will be cool to see everyone's preferences!

Bonus questions: What's your least favorite?

My favorites are either Lemon-lime from Us rations or the Orp Lemon drink. If a ration lacks a proper drink mix it ruins the ration for me, they are boring without.

And worst ones are probaly the French or Spanish ones:)

Spanish isotonic vitamin C drink... thing for me, sugar water is cool and all but it janks up my blood sugar. 90's MRE grape drink powder is a close second for me. The worst I've had by far is modern MRE fruit punch or really any modern MRE drink powder because of those pesky clumps.

The ORP Raspberry is probably also my favorite. I do really like the new Cranberry Grape in the latest US MRE's but I can't get a hold of any of those outside of the full MRE. The worst is easy - the one cold (yet nasty) isotonic drink in French rations, that Mango Tea crap or whatever.

the Norway "Real" peach was great... the Spanish isotonic gives me nightmares

Used to like the Iced Tea mix in ye olden times.

ORP raspberry is always my favourite.
French isotonic drinks are ghastly, as well as US Fruit Punch and Tropical Punch

I havent had alot but the apple cider was pretty solid

I'm with ya. The lemon lime is probably my favorite out of a US MRE. Not sure if the protein drinks count but the irish cappuccino counts I like that too!

No way! I couldn't stand the stuff but I get it! I can dig that. I agree that modern MRE fruit punch is pathetic. I sort of like the lemon lime but it's all pretty blah nowadays.

Yeah, man I feel lucky to of tried it as it was just tossed in a random deal I did awhile back. Best drink mix I've ever had out of an rat. I had the mango tea, had to go back and watch a review I did to remember. Yeah, it's pretty terrible! haha!

I've had some of the old iced tea mixes from 90s but you know 20 years old they all suck now but I could tell that maybe they were good back in the day!

Out of what rations is that apple cider?

All - I'm surprised to see no one mention Russian rations and their drink "mixes" that never fully dissolve. For some reason I sort of like them! Ha!

ORP Raspberry possibly a winner right now?

Also, Anyone else try that miscus stuff out of malaysian or indonesian I forgot which. I have some but I haven't tried it yet. I'm scared! haha.
