Post by ViperGTS » Thu Jan 16, 2020 4:46 pm

I have a huge commercial grade vacuum sealer, anybody know if the outter mre bags are made of a plastic friendly to vacuum sealers?

I grabbed some yellow bag HDR for an ok price, but they are open.

Should be no problem to reseal the MRE bags, you just need to play around with the seal-time abit as their bag material is so thick, may need more time to heat than a regular bag.

It should work. I’ve used mine to seal MRE bags when I make my own. It doesn’t suck the air out as well as it does with the traditional vacuum bags, but it seals them just fine.
