Anyone ever try the Country Captain Chicken?

I've been reading so much about how awful it was, just curious to see if anyone was ever stuck with one.

Yes, we used to call it "Country-Crapt'In-Chicken". It was not very good. But still when you compare CCC to the veggie omelet that came later, CCC was much better!

Been so long, I might be mixing up the reasons for disliking it.

This one had almonds in it, right?

I love nuts of all kinds, except mixed in with meat. Repulses me for some reason. CCC also had some odd seasoning on it, too.

Never tried it as it wasnt a menu item when I was in the Army but honestly having dined on the MCI and MRE there's not a whole lot worse than Ham and Mothers (MCI) and Diced Turkey and Gravy ( MRE) the later is one I still have one of here at home.

At the meet up, both Shawker and I were pleasantly surprised that we both really enjoyed a 03 CCC. I’d love to try a fresh one...and that 03 was not in great shape.
All the best, Gents.

- I'm also making videos mainly for my own enjoyment, but hey, maybe you might want to check them out: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC4-9gp ... C1dSyPX0w/
