Far as I've read, and watched, you're correct about the date range. Going off memory here though, so I could be off
Seems like it'll depend on the contents to narrow down the age.

Thats what i found too, bummer, not sure if i want to open these, since i dont do videos.
The interior packaging changed from silver to clear plastic wrap after the 60s, i think. But they are in such good shape, i cant picture them being older than late 70s. I would have to find a fudge bar for them to be older, right?

Those are in pristine condition, nice find Viper!!!
If you were to open one you could take pictures and do a written review here on the forum! That would be killer!

Thanks. A tiny bit of surface rust on the top of one and a few scratches on the other, but super thrilled i stumbled onto these.

Army navy store that only sells vintage items. Mostly ww2, but spotted these in the back of a glass case. The guy didnt have any other rations, other than a modern case of British 24hr, but his asking price was double the going rate.
I went to this store to find some 301 bomber group patches, but found those instead.

Those are probably early 80's. I have an 82 that is identical from the same manufacturer. Looks great! Killer find!
