Just curious, is there an MRE or Vintage ration that you consider to be the rarest/holy grail?
Sorry if I have posted this in the wrong spot, I know I have a bad habit of doing that!

Ken, your case of rafcos has both bands on it still and looks really nice!
You do have some nice holy grails there. The prototype MRE is just amazing to see.
Here are a couple of mine including a case of 1980 MREs with a 2 year instead of 3 year inspection. Huge thanks to Sentient Tootsieroll for helping me find that one.

Actually those white pouch cold weather rations were not bad. Back in the day my unit accidentally got shipped a pallet or so of cases. JMHO, they could have been the first US 24 hour ration; problem was you needed a @#$%-load of water to re-constitute them.

Ken, Steve,
Very cool rations there! First run/prototype stuff is always really neat to see! Thanks for sharing!

How do you know the date on these cold weathers? I found some for sale that look just like this, but there is no date that I can see.

Btemple recently got an Australian 5 man CR5M, super rare , but modern, it was likely pretty expensive.
Steve had to rent a warehouse to store his collection

... probably.

You would be surprised by how relatively cheap it was.
The CR5M was certainly my Holy Grail, I still can't believe I have one!

Here's a few. I put an unboxing video of the contents up on my channel too.
