If someone is willing to bid those prices, there is nothing ridiculous about it. That's one of the things that many eBay sellers are counting on, ill-informed people who get carried away with their bidding to increase their profit margin. Ridiculous are those who make auction postings at prices so outrageous that no one bids on them.
