The answer is, about 6-8 months as long as its not opened, according to the instructions. Probably a temperature thing, just like MRE's, but once opened, it all better dis-appear, unless you got 18 inches of snow, and it's 22 degrees outside.

Okay, thanks. They do make UHT milk in smaller cartons (8oz or 250ml,) but again, it's just not something that has caught on here in the States. If the ambient temperature is no higher than 35ºF, it's probably okay to leave it out. If it starts getting below 20º, you might want to put it into a cooler or something (to keep it from solidifying
).
