I just wanted to chime in and say it was a very good article. We've all seen some of the past articles on MREs and other rations and they almost always nose-dive into comedy - like having restaurant Chefs review MREs and complain about how they just don't compare to fine cuisine.

It's also really tough to photograph rations in way that lets you easily compare them while not invoking horror at the site of a ration packet stripped of all its packaging and standing naked and unheated. Let's face it...rations always look best when you're hungry and about to eat them.

So I think Ash did a great job!
