Is it possible to locally buy mre's.

Their shipping did only say 9$ for me though. Even if that's not their plant and I can't do pickup it's still a pretty good deal compared to others I have seen. I think all that's left for me to check is military bases/people in them.

I checked shipping for a case and I got $ 11.25 to Orlando.

If ReaperOne1Two2 got $ 9.00 to a South Fla zip code that would suggest that they are shipping from somewhere closer to him than me.

I checked Hoover's and Dunn & Bradstreet and can't find any information on International Meal Supply LLC. Next time that I am in Ft. Laud to visit my daughter & grandson, I will make it a point to scope them out.

If their shipping from the address on the website it is only a 10 minute drive for me.

I took the coward's way out and called MREStar.

First, as Kman said, the manufacturing is done in South Carolina.

- but -

They do normally hold stock at the Hollywood, FL location

- and -

you can buy and pick it up there, thus avoid shipping charges.

- but -

they have shipped everything that they have to Texas and will be out for at least a week.

- so -

Yes, you can buy it locally and save shipping, but call first to make sure that they have stock.

I copied the adress into Google Maps and it pointed it to South Dixie Hwy instead of North
