Until one girl said "Yes!"

As the advertisement on TV says, "When is a diet pill worth $ 153.00?" Answer: as long as there are people stupid enough to pay it.

"Big G is right....lol  Plain and simple....Ignore that fool and let him shove those MRE's up where the sun doesn't shine and the back looses its name!!!!!

Peace!

Dirtbag,

I think you can e-mail the webmaster or customer service link on craigslist and tell them about this poster and see what they can do. I was on craigslist not to long ago and asked them to remove a bogus advertising link, they got it taken care off in no time flat. Real nice folks.

A while back someone on an obscure Spanish collectors site was selling a single MRE, unfortunately I can't remember where.

It seemed from the description that it was being sold by a Spanish soldier recently returned from Afghanistan. The selling point was "Genuine US issue, direct from US military". Which either meant A: Not really true at all, or B: He traded it for something with a G.I. then it spent 6 months baking in the sun.

Anyway, cost? 40 Euros, about $60.

I'm going to take the unpopular view here. If someone is able to sell a product for a huge markup then more power to them.

In a way, Cat is right. There's nothing saying the guy can't be dumbass and try to sell those MREs for $300/case. But then again, he is using pictures that obviously aren't of what he's selling. In that case, I'd recommend clicking one of the flags in the upper right-hand corner to report the post.

That's pretty much what I was trying to say, in my own convoluted manner.

If people are going to buy things without knowing their worth, they WILL be ripped off. You cannot make the world a safe place for a fool and their money!
You can pick your friends
and you can pick your nose
but you can't roll your friends into little green balls!

Thank God! If I had a product I could make a quick $200 bucks on I'd be selling it all day long, but I'm guessing his auction will close without a bid.

You know I got "riped off" on the first case I bought (by riped off I mean I paied a lot more then the going price).

The Bridge

Post by jfko6 » Thu Aug 28, 2008 8:02 pm

If anyone's interested I have a genuine and authentic bridge for sale. It's in Brooklyn, NY and it connects to downtown New York City. But don't wait this offer only comes once in a lifetime.

Measurements
5,989 feet (1825 m)

A toll booth can be added which can make a great return on your investment.

I've already have several offers. But I'm offering it to you guys on a first come first serve basis.

Only $499.00. That will save you millions. And I guarantee this bridge is a cash cow.
