Hey norge, that is awesome! I love it.

You need to get the little 2-pack of cigarettes to put in there. Those were put in prior to 1977 and usually included either Marlboro, Winston or Salem if I recall.

Dirtbag,
Yeah I remember the packs as 4 smokes or something jsut enough to get by and usually cheap ones at that. I wish they still had they soup and gravy base-beef flavor. It was just soo good to have. :D

They were 4 packs, same as the samples that the cigarette companies used to pass out. I grew up on those sample packs as a kid, 'cause I had a friend whose dad was some sort of rep for RJR and I was able to get Winston samples, cartons at a time.

A reading from the Book of Armaments, Chapter 4, Verses 16 to 20:

Then did he raise on high the Holy Hand Grenade of Antioch, saying, "Bless this, O Lord, that with it thou mayst blow thine enemies to tiny bits, in thy mercy."

I remember seeing the 4 packs of Cools, Marlboro and Benson&Hedges from 1974-75 packed cases, bought by my Daddy, at the gunshow. Of course, he took them all to work and would'nt let me have any. Deano, go and change your armour.

In the early 70's, I was a very junior Squid, (Navy), and as our ship was going thru overhaul, My task, for a while , was opening up the life-rafts and checking them out.
They had world War 2 smokes in them, Lucky strikes, in the Green pack-- 'Lucky Strikes goes to War'
They were dry as dust, and burned like a fuse, sparks and all...
Nasty ! :D
