2005 MRE Menus Are Out

With the redesigned DSCP subsistence section comes the new 2005 MRE Menus! Check out the official menu here: Official Menu or the MREInfo.com version of the menu.

Also, thanks to Mirage, we also have a preliminary listing of the 2006 MRE entrees. You can find this on the main MRE menus page.

Mirage - I compared that preliminary 2005 menu list you sent me a few months ago to the official DSCP menu and it looks like it matched up with the exception of #11 - that preliminary menu had Penne Pasta listed but the official menu still had the old Pasta w/Vegetables on that. I wonder why that changed.

By the way guys...what do you think of the way I did the 2005 Menus vs. the 2004 Menus?

Besides the table spacing changes, I decided to bold the changes from 2004. This makes it easier to figure out what's different and gives you an idea of how they tweak the MREs from year to year.

I like the new layout; the bolded new items will make it easier to tell which year a ration was packed for mre's that have multi-year runs.

Yes, Kman, the new format is very clean and easy to follow. Let me be the first in line for the new Sloppy Joe Filling. I'll bet that's awesome!
