there sure have been a lotta repros listed as originals. I remember seeing one sell for $200 as "probably repro" (obviously so) and then that exact one, same stain on one side and all, being passed off as original. Guess the scammers finally figured out K rats are lucrative or something.

saw that one as well and bid on it the first time around.

flipping it didn't cross my mind like it obviously crossed somebody else's but to my eye that breakfast is the real deal. font, colors and paper all look good to me and iirc i had the seller weigh it and it was 11+oz

What are you seeing on the breakfast? Comparing it to my 3 on display it looks good to me

Dug into my empty boxes and actually found a Cracker Jack with squared off U's. They look different to my eye and the mfg roll is still off but it’s a tuck end instead of glued so who knows

Those weights would still have me avoid those two like the plague, though

Not to sound like a wise guy here, but I'm thinking that one surefire way to tell if they are repros would be to consume them----if you're not violently ill within a couple of hours, they're probably repros. Of course that might detract from the whole point of collecting.
