1940 TO 1945 LIFE RAFT RATION

HEY GUYS I WOULD LIKE TO SHARE A PIC OF MY VERY FIRST LIFE RATION I OPENED.THE YEAR WAS BETWEEN 1940 TO 1945 AND IT WAS PACKED BY CHARMS COMPANY BLOOMFIELD,N.J.I HAD TO OPEN IT FROM THE BOTTOM THE KEY WAS MISSING SO I HAD TO USE MY P-38.WHEN I GOT IT OPEN THERE WAS A MESS THE VITIMIAN TABS AND THE LOSE CHARMS WHERE LIQUEFIED THEY WERE STUCK TO THE BOTTOM OF THE CAN AND ALL OVER THE P.K.WRIGLEYS GUM AND 1 PACK OF CHARMS.I WAS ABLE TO SAVE 11 PACKS OF CHARMS CHECK OUT THE PIC BELOW. :D

lol, was going to say the exact same thing :lol: , but then again if you are finding yourself in a life raft, you've already had plenty of bad luck

What's funny to me is it seems like all of those old different types of rations have products made or packaged in northern New Jersey.
As a south Jersey native i find it quite amusing.
