Gum

Is it me or does the gum tend to vary in quality? It seems to me that sometimes the gum is good and lasts and other times it seems to not taste as good and fizzle out after several minutes.

I have pretty much only had Ameriqual packed MRE so there might be some variation between the 3 packers, but the gum is pretty horrible. Flavor is good for about 20 secs. The flavor on the mint lasts 4 secs longer than the cinnamon.

The gum probably comes from the same maker and is just shipped to the 3 to be packed. There may be a seperate accessory pack maker, not sure.

A couple of sturdy Altoid type mints would be nice instead, but every penny counts to Uncle Sam
