1966 MCI mystery smokes

Hey guys, I opened my first MCI accessory pack today, one I obtained from my man Limp noodle aka Larry, and was surprised to find a pack of smokes with a plain white box and the only identifying marking being P. Lorillard Co. Greensboro N.C. USA on the left side of the package and 4 Class A Cigarettes across the top of the front of the 4 pack. And the caution warning down the other side of the smokes. I've never seen nor heard of these before, does anyone happen to have any info or experience with such a pack as these? I guess I could open them but if they turn out to be worth something I wouldn't want to do that lol...I'll include some photos...thanks for your time guys and hope we can get some info on these mystery 'cigrits'.... the cans in the MCI appear to be from 1966 if that helps...

Interesting why they were put in generic packaging. Here is a quote from a website:

I have had Kents and Newports in the plain white packs.

Thanks fellas! I'm REALLY hoping they are newports or some other methols! Only one way to find out! Gonna make up the coffee that came in the accessory pack and get to the bottom of this here mystery, I happen to have a canteen cup from 1966 as well so I think it may be an appropriate time to put it to use for the first time as well. Gonna be a night of firsts for me here!...I appreciate your time guys! Thanks again! Time to make a sacrifice to the ration gods!

Well guys, THEY ARE NEWPORTS!!! I watched your 1966 Fried Ham MCI video while I had the smoke and drank the coffee. You're 100% right Steve, the only con was that they burn fast. It was incredibly smooth for being a 52 year old smoke and the coffee, sugar and surprisingly even the creamer were in phenomenal condition. I only wish I had the proper Newport pack, but when I opened them up and saw the white filter, like the ones in the video, I was filled with excitement. As I inched the smoke out and saw the inverted swoosh, my excitement and assumption was confirmed. An absolutely wonderful experience for my first MCI smoke. Tomorrow I'm going to see if I can find a reasonably priced humidor and try and save the other three for another special occasion. Couldn't have gone much better folks. What an awesome way to pop my MCI cigrit cherry lol...and I was even able to get one match strike on the old matchbook that was in there, and seeing as how it's mostly rubbed away now I don't think the striker will work for another, but it was worth it. I'll going to finish my coffee before it gets cold now, thanks again boys, I appreciate yas.

Those old Newports are seriously smooth. Almost like air. And what a great introduction to some C rat smokes too.

A cigar humidor should keep em nice for your next occasion - that's what I do with my loose smokes is just put them in the humidor and have em ready for the perfect time to enjoy. And I also keep em out of the small packs by this point too and those are all in a little box full of empty 4 and 5 packs.

Don't think this one could have turned out better for ya Danny! Gotta say, the Kents are super smooth too. But also not super common.
