How long does that bread in a can last?

I've seen the canned bread before, but never tasted it. How is it?

The can is marked "Best by Sept. 09". I figured it was probably canned around 2006 so that would give it an "offical" life of 3 years.

I haven't tried it yet but I'll probably open it up during lunch to check it out. And dirtbag is right about the molasses - even the can of German EPa bread I tried recently had lots of molasses. I like the flavor, personally, but my wife can't stand it.
