Book found: MRE's of the world

Post by Rogue187 » Tue May 29, 2007 9:31 pm

Folks,
I just recently won an auction for a Japanese book on MRE's of the world.
Unfortunately, I don't read japanese but I did find the book has some really nice pictures of MRE's from around the world.
It appears to be a good picture reference book.
If your interested in getting a copy check Ebay..
If you can't find one let me know and I'll check out Japan Town bookstore.
They've got all sorts of military collectors books there..

That's pretty cool, Rogue. The Japanese have some pretty good stuff on rations - I've even seen rations magazines out there. Do you have an ISBN number for that book?

Here is the USBN: 4-8465-2612-7

I hope that is the number your seeking..
Under it, has some numbers that look like cost of the book.

Yes, That is the slipcover of the book.
It does show some interesting rations..
I kinda wouldn't mind the kimchee in the ROK one..
Lots of fish and pate's out there..
I didn't think that would fill a soldier's stomach too much..
But it looks like there is a bunch of food there..

They even show a picture of Vegimite in a tube..

Cool..
