K ration value

Post by Tulahex » Mon Sep 18, 2017 11:54 am

So I noticed there is a K ration on ebay with a starting bid of $999.00. I cant seem to find any information on the value of these and that seems really high. Does anyone know what they are worth?
I wasn't sure if I should post this question here or in buying/selling.

Unless it's gold plated that is way too high! I saw one on eBay a couple weeks ago with a "buy it now" price of $200

If you find somebody that pay´s $999, it´s $999 worth. If you don´t - it doesn´t

That one has been relisting for awhile. I have never seen one go that high at auction. Usually $150 - $250 range for originals. Replicas much much less.

As these get harder to find I imagine at some point they will get to that price. Are they there today? Depends on the buyer. I don't think so but that's just me.

Now you show me a ration with solid documentation that it was brought back from a military action during the war. I'd be highly interested in that.

That's pretty crazy. I've seen that one on there as well, and it never seems to sell at that price point. Most that I've seen are in the $125-$200 range depending on their condition and whether they are sealed or not.

You got me looking on Ebay which is a bad thing for my wallet.

Check this thing out. I don't see these very often.

That's because I'm selling them. Since we don't see them very much on eBay, and when you do see them they are way overpriced. So, therefore, I managed to come across a few and put them up for bid for an affordable price.
