Last weekend I bought the 14 cans shown on the photos on a flea market in Germany for 4,00 EURO (about: 5,40 US Dollar). They are all in a good condition, only the Apricot Jam is leaking a bit.
Does anyone know how old they are and to which ration they belong?
So long mreheater72

dirtbag has a good guess. My guess would be that they're from a British multi-man ration of some sort. I say this because of the wording on a couple of cans: "Oatmeal Blocks" (sounds like an item in the current British ration) and "Mixed Fruit Pudding" (while we eat "jell-o pudding" here in the US, it's not quite the dessert fanfare that British "pudding" is.

they are british 5 or 10 man combo rations for armored vehicles,
they was used a lot in norway in the 180-90s by the british army
and royal marines

Hi there,
Norge, I can confirm your answer. To my knowledge they are Britsh compo rations. First issued in the Netherlands shortly after the second WW. Thus probably also in other EU countries as well around that time or later.

Hi guys,
thanks a lot for your replies!!
But I´m very surprised: Old British rations on a Bavarian flea market, real funny!
Although I really collect only US Rations, I´ll surly find a place in my basement for them!
Best wishes mreheater72
