Some of you might not mind, or may even like it, but I get really disappointed every time I open an MRE and find a wheat snack bread.
I never ever tasted any bread like that before. That pepper-like aftertaste from the wheat snack bread and similar buns based on the same recipe... It's gotta be one of the preservatives in there.
Is there any single ingredient you can point to and say "this is the reason you think it tastes bad".
Searching for "wheat snack bread taste" on this forum is not very useful
