My favorite comment from a solider in the field test, regarding Chicken and Dumplings: "There was a flatulence symphony in my tent all night."

You can't get much higher praise than that!

Thanks for the link, CaptBob - that's a great preso. I just skimmed through it briefly but it looks like it has lots of good info.

Kman and everyone,
Hey I just skimmed through the PPP and am I to assume that they are coming out with 27 new menus options in the coming year? Now is that in MRE's or the UGR's in the field kitchen? I think that the new entrees could be better served in the MRE's. But getting a hot an fresh UGR pizza at dinner might be just the thing? Ya never know?

I'm not sure about that, Treesuit. The way I recall it, they were just talking about MREs - but I might have to go back through the slides to make sure of that. It sure does seem like a lot of changes for one year.
