Forgive my ignorance, but is Zapplesauce still around?
If so , any ideas on where to buy.

Welcome to the forums. Normally you could find Zapplesauce on theepicenter.com, but I don't see any on there right now. Emergency Essentials also sells MRE items individually, but it's not there at the moment either. I checked joesarmynavyonline.com as well, also out of stock. Each of those sites have carried Zapplesauce so it could be All that being said, the only place I can think of for sure where you'd find any would be a MORE Type I Pack 3, Type II Pack 2 and Pack 3 or in all FSRs except for menu 5 and menu 9.

The MOREs and FSRs are available on eBay at the moment.

Oh, I should have mentioned - yes, this is still a current production item and it is being placed in the rations I mentioned above.

The places that Ruleryak mentioned are the best places to look. They get new stock in pretty often, especially at theepicenter, so I would just keep checking with them. As he already mentioned as well, yes, they are in the current production plans, so I would imagine that they will stay in the lineup for awhile. Feedback from the field I hear has been pretty good with it, especially in the easy-to-consume packaging.

The epicenter does have a few of the newer applesauce varieties, but the Zapplesauce really does have a better delivery system and why not add caffeine right?

WebDad-- I've seen different flavored applesauce [sanz the ZAP] in retorts with a screwtop at my market. They'd be great for "roll-yer-own" camping MREs.

I believe the First Strike Rations still contain Zapplesauce. Saw a couple few weeks back at a gun show.
