best place to buy MRE food?
Epicenter and BePrepared both seem like good places to buy MRE items. What is your favorite place to buy MRE items?

The Knob Creek Machine Gun Shoot, Fort Knox, Kentucky. Best place (and cheapest) to get military issue MREs, next to www.armygear.net

I tend to like the Epicenter and Long Life Foods. Both have rather unique MRE components. I really am impressed with the fast shipping on the epicenter's website.

I would also recommend Meyer's; www.meyerscustomsupply.com

I've had good dealings with the epicenter on MRE component items as well as cases of civi-MREs (Sure-Pak/Apacks). I had a problem with one of my orders and the owner Brian cleared it right up for me.
And through MREInfo forums, not to sound like a broken record of the feedback page, but Treesuit seems to be the go to guy for sealed and random cases of real MREs and components. I bought a few cases of MREs and some grab bags (mix of components) from Treesuit and have always been pleased. I'm still nibbling away at the last grab bag I got from him, and that was a few months ago.

The Epicenter has been my "go-to" place for individual MRE components. Great selection and freshness.
I'm just disappointed they're currently all out of the chocolate peanut butter!
It seems like they'll have it for a while...then they sell out and not have it for a while...then they get it back in stock again...sell out again...and so on, etc.

I've used theepicenter.com before and got good deals on individual entrees and such.
My local survival goods store, SOS Survival Products, carries SurePak and I get a nice discount off the regular price. If anyone's in the southern California area, check them out. Also, online at http://www.sosproducts.com

If you are retired military or know someone in the service, I'd try a commissary. Our local commy carries individual MREs ($7.80, I think) and TOTMs ($4.20). Have bought a few in the past. Selection varies. Would think if you wanted to buy a case customer service (such as that is) might be able to help.
