Hi!
I'm pretty sure I asked a question on how does one send mres overseas-by this I was curious to know if folks declare it's camping meals and if they used padded envelopes or cardboard boxes.
Somehow my original question seemed to be deleted. Not sure if I asked something that should not be asked.
Any advice or suggestions,folks?
Thanks.

To answer your question, I declared the MREs as "camping supplies" and shipped them in a cardboard box.crunchie wrote:Hi!

I've done this, too, with good results. I've shipped to Europe, Great Britain, Australia and Canada. All my packages made it through to the recipients. YMMVkeystone wrote:To answer your question, I declared the MREs as "camping supplies" and shipped them in a cardboard box.crunchie wrote:Hi!

Re: Q-Deleted On Mailing mre Question?
I've had success with declaring them as "camping supplies", too.
I wouldn't say "camping meals" or "camping food". Those seem to me to be more likely to trigger a customs inspection.

Great..thanks for the replies fellows.
I was looking at a padded envelope but I will go the cardboard box way as shipping container.
-thanks for mentioning that tip about camping supplies rather than meals.
