A while back, kyle was kind enough to send me a couple of MREs that had been sitting his storage building forever. I said I'd be happy to take them off his hands and do an in-depth taste-test of them. So here's the first one - a 1993 MRE of Tuna and Noodles:

Stay tuned for the tale of terror I'll call "MRE Review - 1982 Pork Patty".

ate #4 ham omelette (loaf) from a '93 case y'day and it was all good. the hot sauce was still tangy! it even had a diet soda pkg which i had never seen before.
it even came with an FRH which i don't seem to remember from the '93 cases.
i guess keeping the cases inside (70-ish) helps with the longevity.[/url]

Amazing That a Entree Like tuna n noodles from 1993 could
still be edible. I was scared to buy a pork chop(or pork somthing) entree
from circa 1999 at a local army navy store.
Its Funny cause they have in the past only offered 2004/2005 entrees. Come dec 1st they loaded the shelves with a lotta old stock.
At a 1.72 each(no Shipping) i guess thats not so bad if there still good.
lol..lets hope you dont succumb to some unknown mre blight
